I had such wonderful luck with my inquiry a couple of weeks ago , that I
thought I'd follow up with a new question that is related. I am trying to
locate the family of William M GRANT. He married Ann Caroline "Nancy"
GARRETT, daughter of William GARRETT / Ann TAYLOR , from Amherst Co VA .In
1808 he witnessed the approval of marriage of William GARRETT's daughter ,
Sarah GARRETT , to William BIBB of Amherst Co. He applied for property in
Davidson Co TN and Huntsville MT in 1814 and he died in Huntsville, Madison
Co AL in 1827. Children listed in the will are:Alexander G. , Harriett ,
Sarah R, Eliza ( Elizabeth C ), Egbert, Patsy A.W., Emily G., John S
Washington, Nancy.
Doed anyone descend from or know of this GRANT family ? I think that
William may have married more than once ( had a wife prior to his marriage
to Nancy ). Please help if you can. Thanks. Molly
