Awesome. I am Scott Harris. Live in West Palm Florida. My father George
Robert Harris was born in Pedlar Mills to John Harris. John Harris married Salld
Dean Pleasants daughter of John Pleasants. At one time a land grant from
England gave them the land from tobacco row to Gun Mountain and on toward the
Blue Ridge.
I still have an uncle, Wiliam Henry Harris alive and living in Moneta Va
near Bedford. just in case you had and family questions for him. He knew many
people there and still does. He just gave me the name of Mr King who was also a
land owner in the area
We restored the Pleasant Hill Cemetary in 2002 and go back each year on Good
Friday.
