I am looking for information on the three youngest children of
Fleming Hall Duncan (1774-1826) and Sarah "Sally" Johns (1774-
abt. 1832): Robert, Editha S. and Samuel H. Duncan. Here is
what I know of their early life at this point:

Robert Duncan
- b. abt. 1814, Amherst Co., Virginia
- Amherst Co., Va. Will Book 8-81, 2/21/1831, bond for Robert C.
Bibb as guardian of Robert Duncan, orphan of Fleming H. Duncan;
bondsmen - John Russell, Benjamin B. Bibb and Fleming H. Duncan
(may have married and moved with family to Buckingham County)

Editha S. Duncan
- b. abt. 1816, Amherst Co., Virginia
- Amherst Co., Va. Will Book 8-100, 6/20/1831, guardian bond for
John Russell as guardian of Editha Duncan, orphan of Fleming H.
Duncan, deceased; bondsman - Joseph R. Carter.
- Amherst Co., Va. Will Book 9-19, bondsman account 2/20/1832 -
8/23/1834, includes payment to Wiatt Gatewood for 6 months
schooling, part of father's estate.
- Amherst Co., Va. Will Book 9-239, 3/7/1836, John Russell, former
guardian , released; witness - Joseph R. Carter.
(nothing further known about Editha)

Samuel H. Duncan
- b. abt. 1818, Amherst Co., Virginia
- Amherst Co., Va. Will Book 8-353, 9/16/1833, bond of Peter P.
Thornton and Peter Rucker; Thornton as guardian of Samuel H.
Duncan, orphan of Fleming Duncan.
(Samuel married Elmira W. Smith on Nov. 27, 1837 in Nelson Co.,
Virginia, where he resided until sometime between 1840 and 1850
when he removed to Buckingham Co. and settled in the New
Canton-Slate River District area until his death.)

Amherst Co., Va. Will Book 6-715, Fleming H. Duncan, 12/19/1826,
prob. 1/15/1827; three youngest children - Robert, Editha S. and
Samuel H., to obtain three years education; after wife Sarah's death,
all children equal...

I would like to know if anyone has any further information on these
three children. Perhaps, those studying the families of Robert C.
Bibb, John Russell or Peter P. Thornton may have discovered the
name of one of these children in their research.

Any information would be very much appreciated.

Thank you!
