Researching Henry Talley WRIGHT b, Hanover Co, VA 1817 relocated to Amherst Co in 1840. His father is believed to be a William Wright. Henry md Nancy Jane SMOOT in Amherst Co, VA 10/17/1842. Children: John James Wright, Lucy Ann Wright, Wm H. Wright, George W. Wright, Albert Talley Wright, Thomas Jefferson Wright, Benjamin Washington Wright, and Elizabeth Hamilton Wright. All lived in Amherst/Nelson Co area before relocating (most didn't relocate).
I find William and wife Elizabeth in Amherst County in 1841 as signatories to a deed of trust (similar to a will) with Henry. Nothing after that.
Do any researchers have a Henry WRIGHT in Hanover, Amherst or Nelson Counties, VA during the period 1817-1914?
