Martha Jane Cumby may have been born in Buckingham, Charlotte, Prince Edward,
or Campbell Co., since Appomattox was not formed until 1845. There is a
Henry C. Cooper, age 10 born in Virginia, in the 1850 Appomattox census
in Household 592 of Richardson Cooper age 33 b. VA, Jane Cooper age 30
b. VA, and another son Taylor age 2 b. VA. Hope this helps.
