I'm in need of a researcher in Arlington, Alexandria Co., Va. to search Probate and City Directories for me. You can email me privately rather then to the list if preferred.

Dwight Hayden Smith
b. 1835 N. Gage, T/ Deerfield, Oneida Co., NY, son of Henry Smith and probably Eleanor Starring
m. 28 Sept. 1857 by Rev. Wright of Newport, Herkimer Co., NY
Luana Elizabeth Smith
b. c1834/35 NY, probably Herkimer Co., NY dau. of John R. and Caroline Robbins Smith
d. I think 1910 but not certain. She may have died in Washington DC as this is where she was living 10 April 1910
when the Census was taken
One source said that she is buried Ivy Hill Cem., in Arlington, but a check of Arlington Nat'l Cemetery shows she and
Dwight there.

Dwight d. 12 Aug. 1879 in Washington, DC. He worked for the Treasury. He was a 1st Lt., Civil War.

Issue:
Carrie E. b. 1860 Richfield Springs, Otsego Co., NY or Herkimer Co., single yet in 1910, residing with mother in a boarding
house in Wash. DC
Hattie Estelle b. 23 Jan. 1863 Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY, married 1881 a man named probably GROSS.
Gertrude A. b. 18 June 1866 Washington, DC

The family lived most of their years in Arlington, Va. This is why I need the City Dir. there searched first as well as the Probate.

I contacted www.vitalchek.com but their requirement is that I'm either a father, mother, sister, brother, wife, daughter, son of the above couple. I'm in a collateral line.
