I had hoped to send you copies of the obits but I see that there is no email address.
Attorney Alfred H. Collins Sr died June 2, 1965 ...lived at 1903 3rd St NW. husband of Inez, father of Muriel I. Collins, Barbara J. Kaiser, & Alfred H. Collins Jr. 3 grandchildren. McGuire funeral Home...remains will lie in state at Ebenezer Baptist Church Alexandria VA. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.

Also there are many articles in the Washington Post that mention Alfred Sr.

Alfred H. Collins Jr died July 29, 1973 husband of Barbara E. Collins, father of Alfred H. III, Yolanda L, Adrienne M. and Jerrold A. Collins. Two sisters" Miss Muriel I Collins and Mrs. Barbara Kaiser of Madison WI. Funeral at St. George's Episcopal Church. Interment Lincoln Memorial Cemetery.
