Subject: [VABEDFOR] HAYNES, FERRILL, SANDERS, and SMITH

Hello!

With two exceptions, the married daughters of William HAYNES, 1710-1780 who
died in Bedford County, VA, disappear after their mention in his will. I
know little or nothing about their families, and need help completing that
chapter of my book.

1. Ann HAYNES m. Gabriel FERRILL, but I have no info on when, where they were
born, married, had children, and died. In his will, William mentions two
grandchildren, Mildred and Elizabeth FERRILL. A search for the name FERRILL
gave two results. A Gabriel (and William) FERRILL served in the army of the
NC line 1784-1785. A Gabriel FERRILL of Botetourt County, VA gave his dtr
Elizabeth in marriage to Benjamin BRATCHER ca Sep 1803. The latter looks
promising.

2. Frances HAYNES m. a MR. SMITH. same lack of info as above, and I don't
even know his given name!

3. Elizabeth HAYNES m. William LEFTWICH abt 1757; he died in Bedford Co. in
1820. SAme lack of info.

4. Mildred HAYNES m. Stephen SANDERS 29 Sep 1768 in Bedford Co. Stephen
witnessed his father-in-law's will. All other info missing.

5. Mary HAYNES m. John LONG 4 Aug 1772 in Bedford Co. They moved to Woodford
Co., KY. Their bible info is at the Filson Club in Louisville, KY. Lots of
info on their family is available.

Any help with the above would be gratefully accepted. The early marriages
were probably before the family moved to Bedford County, and might help me
track the early movements of this prolific family.
