The Bedford County Museum has listings of all the cemeteries moved for Smith
Mountain Lake, with full descriptions, listings of graves, any inscribed
monuments, exact locations, and the relocations that were made. In some
cases they also have considerable other interesting information included,
from interviewing family members or nearby residents. The power company
people did an excellent job in recording all this information.
