I want to thank everyone for their replies concerning my inquiry about
Alexandria maps. The response was overwhelming, and I truly appreciate all
the help!
Now, I am fairly new to the list, so I want to post my Alexandria connection:
the Wilburn family as follows. The origins were in MD, moving through DC,
they settled in Alexandria, and later moved on to Fauquier, I am descended
from Ida V. I would appreciate any information anyone might have on the
family. I live in Westchester Co., NY, and was raised in Suffolk County, on
the border of Nassau County. Please let me know if I can help with anything
local here on my end. Happy Hunting.... Erica

says Ida graduated from William and Mary College, but college says no women
