Yesterday, I sent this message to the EVANS mailing list. Since I don't
know exactly where in Maryland or Florida my EVANS descendants may be
located, I am posting on the above lists also. Sorry for any redundancy to
multi-list subscribers.

I'm looking for descendents of Charles H. EVANS and his wife, Sarah
(Sallie) WINDSOR EVANS. Sallie was the daughter (6th and last child) of
Lemuel H. and Catharine (Kate) BELL WINDSOR.

Charles and Sallie had two sons:
(1) Clarence Steed EVANS who was born in January 1898 in Washington, DC,
and died in 1929. Clarence had a son named Steve; I do not know if he had
any other children.
(2) Bob. I do not have any information on Bob.

111. Charles H. Evans was born in 1864 in Accomack County, Va.. He died in
1938 in Accomack County, Va..

He was married to Sarah M. Windsor (daughter of Lemuel Windsor and
Catherine Unknown) on 28 Apr 1882 in Accomack County, Va.. Sarah M. Windsor
was born in 1865 in Washington, D. C..

Someone from Florida, who I believe was descended from Charles and Sallie,
used to visit my grandfather, Charles H. WINDSOR, Jr., in Onancock, VA.

I would greatly appreciate information you may have on any of the above
persons.
