Hello, I have been trying to become a member of VACALEXA for sometime. My
gggrandfather Henry Darnall/Darnell came to Alexandria in 1803 from Clinton,
Md. He was a slave on His Lordship Kindness plantation. I think his father was
Robert Darnall son of Henry Darnall III. I have researched all the way back
to His Lordship's Kindness and even went to the plantation. It was there that
the name Robert Darnall came up as being his father. I have all records of
Henry Darnell from the time he came to Alexandria until his death in 1852. If
anyone has any more information please contact me.
