Cynthia Minter, b. abt 1809 in VA, m. Joshua Worrell in 1827. Grayson Co.
Isham Spence was surety. Ceremony performed by Rev. John Cock. John Perry
Alderman (1850 Census: Annotated, Carroll Co. VA) says that Cynthia was
raised by Isham and Nancy Spence. He speculates that Nancy Spence's maiden
name was Minter. Spence family tradition dictates that Nancy was a Redpath,
a Native American lady.

Joshua and Cynthia seem to have named children after the Spence and Worrell
families.

Does anyone on this list know anything about Cynthia, or what the connection
with Isham and Nancy Spence is?
