I am searching for the parents of Mary Elam who married Henry London/Lunnon
in Mecklenburg Co., VA, in 1803. She was born in VA circa 1768 and died in
Cleveland Co. (formerly Rutherford Co.), NC, in 1860.

Opal London Cox, in her book, The London Family, wrote the following:

I wonder if anyone has a copy of the Henrico Co. 1688 will of Wm. Elam. I
really would like to see the reference to Henry and Mary that Mrs. Cox
wrote about. It's interesting to me that Wilkes Co., GA; Charlotte Co.,
VA; Henrico Co., VA; and Mecklenburg Co., VA are all mentioned. I'm not
sure how all these people fit together, but would like to know if Mary is
related to either Martin or Wm. Elam.

I would also like to request a lookup from anyone who might have access to
the Boddie book referred to above.
