Sarah,
Neither of these cemeteries is in Charlotte County -- they are both in the
city of Lynchburg, VA which is an hour west of Charlotte Co (almost two
hours from some parts of Charlotte). "Lynchburg Cemetery" is known as "Old
City Cemetery;" they have a very active historic program. Here is their
website -- perhaps if you contact them directly someone will be able to
accommodate you: http://www.gravegarden.org/ Ted Delaney, the curator, is
a very nice guy so he might help.
Their website also gives the contact info for Spring Hill Cemetery.
Alternatively, Campbell and Bedford Counties, and even Amherst Co. are much
closer to Lynchburg than Charlotte is -- you might try posting to those
Rootsweb sites.
