MARRIED.
August 3d, by Rev. C. W. Petherbridge, Mr. THOS. RENCH, to Miss HARRIET
TRIMYER.
DIED.
On Monday evening, 3d inst., at 7 1/2 o'clock, JOHN W., infant son of Sarah
and the late Wm. Miller, aged 1 year, 10 months and 14 days.
The funeral will take place from the residence of his mother, on Main,
between 7th and 8th streets, on this (Wednesday) morning, the 5th inst., at
10 o'clk. The friends and acquaintances of the family, and those of his
grandfather, Mr. John Warrock, are respectfully invited to attend without
further notice.
On Sunday night, 2d August, Mrs. MARY B. GOODE, wife of Edmund F. Goode,
leaving a husband and two children to mourn their loss.
Lynchburg papers will please copy.
On Tuesday, 4th of August, PHILLIP, only son of John W. and Mrs. Bell
Fulcher, aged 17 months and 22 days.
His funeral will take place from his father's residence, on 25th street, at
4 o'clock, this afternoon- the friends and acquaintances ofthe family are
invited to attend.
At Louisa Court-House, Va., July 30, 1857, of scarlet fever, GEORGE FRENCH,
youngest son of Col. Francis W. Jones, aged about 2 years.
On the 16th inst., after a lingering illness, Dr. JNO. H. CUNLIFFE, aged 67
years, a native of Richmond, Va., and for the last 16 years a resident of
North Louisiana and Arkansas.-- Shreveport (La.) South Western, July 22d.
[ John Hughes Cunliffe was my ancestor, he was b. 1790, Chest. Co. He was the
first child of John Cunliffe & Esther Hughes of Manchester. He md. in Madison
Co., Alabama, June 1818 to Susannah S. H. Jones, they had 9 children.]

By the Rev. Mr. Hoge, at the Gothic Church, on Tuesday, 21st inst., at 6
o'clock, A. M., Mr. SEYMOUR V. CRAWFORD to Miss LIZZIE CLOPTON, daughter of
Wm. Clopton, Esq., all of the city of Richmond.
DIED.
At the Gowrie Pits, in Chesterfield county, yesterday morning, at 8 1/2
o'clock, Mrs. MARTHA H. CLARKE, widow of Jas. Clarke, Jr., in the 72nd year
of her age. The friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend
the funeral This Morning, from the above place, at 10 o'clock.
[ Martha an ancestor, she was b. 1783, Va., daughter of John Murchie & his
1st wife, Catherine Harrison, she md. James Clarke, Jr., 1805, Chest. Co.,
they had 4 sons.]
Yesterday evening, at 6 1/2 o'clock, after a lingering illness, BENJAMIN
TERRY, in the 39th year of his age. His funeral will take place This
Afternoon, at 3 o'clock, from his late residence (over Mr. Edward Kersey's
jewelry store, on Main st.) to which his friends and acquaintances are
invited without further notice.
In Santa Cruz, Feb. 14, THOS. H. ROE, formerly of Orange co., Va., aged 25.
