Joan-
Are you familiar with the book 'Genealogical and Historical Notes on
Culpeper County, VA' by Slaughter? There is a section in it on the early
times of Bromfield Parish. One of my ancesors, Ambrose Powell, was one of
the first vestrymen. I checked and did not see any McAlisters or
Alisters. Do you have any other names? Would be happy to check for them
in this book and two others that I have on Culpeper.
Who are your Pearsons? I have a Pearson line that married into the West
family.
