I have a William (Wilhelm) Kahl (Cawl) in Culpepper Co. before 1760. He
sells his land on the forks of the Rapahannock in 1765 as he states he and
his wife, Dorothy, are moving. He goes to Rowan Co., N.C., where he lives
until his death. One daughter is said to have married a Steinseifer in
Culpepper Co.; one married Henry Railsback, Jr., in Rowan Co.; and daughter
Dorothy marries Frederick Cooper (Fredrich Keifer) in Rowan Co. I cannot
find him with the Germanna group although he appears to be living in the area
where many are located. Does this sound familiar to anybody? Eva Alford
