James Ballard Lewis b 1787 Spotsylvania County d Sept 19, 1872 at
Mountain View, Culpeper County; m Sep 4, 1828 Culpeper Co, Elizabeth
Mary Yancey b 1807 d aft. 1890. James Ballard Lewis' parents were James
(or perhaps Willliam?) Lewis b 1761 Spotsylvania County d Jun 12 1790; m
Hannah (or perhaps Lucinda?) Ballard, b 1765. I have been unable to
find any information whatsoever on the ancestors of James (or perhaps
William?) Lewis. Any help will be greatly appreciated, even the
