Please note correction:

Anthony Jenkins father of Elon Jenkins was born in 1759 not
in 1790 in Culpeper County, VA and and no Zachariah was not 104 when he
died he was 94.

I am new to the list and hope that someone can help me. I am looking for
information on the following families:

ZACHARIAH JENKINS b. 04-Feb-1776 in Culpeper Co VA, he died 20-Oct-1870 in
Mercer CO, KY. He married HELEN or ELLEN (Elon on her tombstone) JENKINS
24-Dec-1805 in Culpeper CO, VA. She was born 15-Apr-1774 in Culpeper CO, VA
and died 7-Oct-1858. They are buried in the Trisler family cem in Mercer
County, KY.
Elon's parents were ANTHONY JENKINS Sr, b. 1790 in Culpeper CO, VA d.
22-Apr-1837 in Mercer CO, KY. and MARY CHILTON (no dates), she is the daug
of THOMAS CHILTON and KATHERINE ????.

ZACHARIAH and ELON JENKINS had at least two children born in Culpeper CO,
VA.:
1.JULIUS JENKINS was born October 20, 1807, and died August 12, 1860
probably in Mercer County, Kentucky. He married MATILDA DEMAREE, daughter
of PETER DEMAREE, February 24, 1830 in Mercer County, Kentucky.

2.ANDREW JENKINS was born Abt. 1812 in Culpeper, and died August 18, 1855
in Mercer Co, KY. He married Nancy Royalty, daughter of JONATHON ROYALTY
and ANNA THOMAS January 24, 1834 in Mercer County, KY.

3. Other children of Zachariah and Elon Jenkins may be JAMES, LILIAN,
LUCINDA and ISSAC.
