Hi June....It is unusaul for me to chat on this service but I found your
email of your trip to Clarke Co. and the return trip very
interesting...Yes, it is nice to drive those old roads.
I have many relatives in all the areas you mention and your letters
brought back memories when I once worked in Berryville and also at Mt.
Weather. Virginia has such beautiful by-ways and people miss so much if
they don't use them. This was one of the reasons I decided to move back
to Virginia l0yrs. ago and I travel upwards to 50,000 miles a yr. and
much of it is on such roads...
My Postons/Martz's are from Clarke/Loudoun County, Pearsons from the
Hume area,
Whartons/Swains/ from Fauquier, Madison, Orange, Culpeper, Louisa
counties.
Forgive for the chatter but I felt your joy in your letter.
