Would appreciate any help on this search. My Philip Smith, Revolutionary
War
pensioner of NJ to Culpeper about 1790, had a dau Eliza who is recorded
in
Green's NOTES ON CULPEPER as having married John Wharton, no date given.
Philip Smith migrated to Trigg CO, KY, by way of Frederick, CO, VA,
about
1818 with John Wharton and Eliza migrating at a later date. John and
Eliza
Wharton had one son George Smith Wharton who later moved with wife Sarah
Thompson to Crede, CO. There may have been other children. I need any
information on the parents and siblings of John Wharton of Culpeper CO.
