I have been checking on the Duff family of VA a little bit, as my ancestor
is Nancy Ann Duff who married George Harrison (the latter d. Madison Co.
1822). I've been unable to determine who Nancy Duff's parents are or
whether she is the sister of Joshua Duff, who married Usley Harrison, the
said George Harrison's sister. There is one theory that she is the dau. of
Latchland and another theory that she's the dau. of a William Duff (I don't
know if this is the William Duff you're speaking of). If you have
information that would help me on this, I would appreciate hearing from you.
