I found several Reid, Reed names but no John Read. There is a Walter and a
Griifin Reed. There is an Alexander Reid and a John Reid. The above names are
on page 93. On page 94 are Joseph and Alfred Reid.
I am going with the assumption that John Reid is that same as your John Read
so here is the info on him.
He had
1 White male under 10
1 white male 16-18
1 white male 16-25 including head of household
1 white male 26--44 including head of household
1 Free white female 16-25
1 Free white female 26-44 including head of household
2 persons engaged in agriculture
1 black male 14-25
1 black male 45 +
1 black female
1 free colored person 26-44
