hi everyone,

I'm new to the list. I think Linda McCashland has beat me to the list -
and she has done a lot of really good research too on Oliver McCaslin.
I just wanted to know how many others on the list are also interested in
Oliver McCashland and of course, I'm interested in anything new that you
may find out about him. So far, I understand that he had 6 children
between 1778 and 1820. He married Abigail Butler, has anybody seen a
copy of their marriage record??

The other thing I am very interested is in finding the parents and
siblings of Elizabeth Weekly / Weekley who married Benjamin McCaslin.
They had 6 or 7 children starting in 1821. She may have come from a
family in Chester's Gap.
