Looking for information on Murphys from this area in 1740's, 50's. Specifically a Gabriel and John Murphy/Murphey. They are listed on the 1742 poll for the house of Burgesses for Prince William Co.

Have also seen a Gabriel Murphey mentioned as an undertaker at a church in Quantico in 1752.

These folks were associated with the Herndon, Terrell, McIntosh families.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
