Seeking parents and place of birth of Charles Weaver, born ca 1795. Married
Mary Tuckwiller, daughter of Thomas Tuckwiller, 18 Feb. 1817, Shenandoah (now
Page) County, Va. Owned land in and near Blue Ridge in Page County, and a one
acre tract on the north side of Hughes River in Madison County, Va., near
Rappahannock County, Va. line. The small latter parcel of land, which he
owned 1825-1832, appears to have been a sawmill site. He died on upper Dry
Run, Page County, in 1858. Children: Malinda (m. John Summers), John (m.
Rebecca Sours), Daniel (m. Catherine Smelser), Mary (m. Samuel S. Sours),
Joseph (m. Martha Bowen), Catherine (m. Frederick Sours), Louisa (m. Absalom
Tuckwiller) and Charles.

It has been suggested that Charles Weaver was probably the son of Daniel
Weaver and Barbara Clore, Germanna Colonies descendants. It has been reported
that Daniel Weaver, son of Matthias Weaver, was born in Culpeper County, Va.,
in 1757, and died in Rappahannock County, Va., in 1846.  

Does anyone have further information or proof that Charles Weaver was the son
of Daniel Weaver and Barbara Clore?

I shall appreciate any comments or information anyone may have.
