Mary Stevens Jones, a retired newspaper writer and a former English teacher,
holds a B.A. degree from Westhampton College of the University of Richmond.
Co-editor of Historic Culpeper published in 1972 by the Culpeper Historical
Society, she resides in Culpeper. She is vice-chairman of Culpeper County's
American Bicentennial Commission.
The above information was in a book that was published by the Culpeper
Historical Society, Inc., in 1976. The name of the book:
An 18th Century Perspective Culpeper County. This book was compiled and
edited by Mary Stevens Jones.
