Need help identifying the parents of James M. Taylor found in Madison County in 1930 & 1920 census. But cannot find him with his parents. I thought possibly he might have come from Orange Co. Taylors.

In Locust Dale Dist, Madison Co., Va in 1930 census I find:
James M. Taylor age 47 (b.1883) married @ 27yrs Farmer born in VA as were both parents
Effie L. Taylor, wife age 35
Flora W. Taylor, daug, age 15
James M. Taylor, Jr. son age 13
Katharine C. Taylor daug age 11
Annie Lee Taylor daug age 10
Jessie M. Taylor daugh age 8
Aubrey W. Taylor son age 6
Thelma M. Taylor daug age 4 10/12
John A. Taylor, son age 3

In the 1920 Locust Dale Dist. Madison Co census James & Effie Taylor are listed with Mary A. McGee 71 yrs. Widow.

1910 Locust Dale, Madison Co Va census shows John A. Berry 26yrs, married 3 yrs to Minnie (wife), age 23 yrs. Living with them is Mollie McGee (Lodger) 65yrs, widow, married 25 yrs, and Effie L. McGee (Lodger) 15 yrs.

1900 Locust Dale, Madison Co VA census shows: McGee, Mollie D. head, Sep 1841, 58 yrs, widow, 2 child/2 child
Then a surname I cannot figure out (Rodgin???) for Minnie, daug, Feb 1886, 14 yrs, single and the same unrecognizable surname for Effie, daug, Sep 1894, 5 yrs, single.

At first I thought James M. Taylor's wife, Effie L. was a McGee, but from the 1900 census I figure that Effie & Minnie's mother was married before and that McGee was her 2nd husband.

I would like to know the maiden name of Effie L. (?) Taylor and also who the parents of James M. Taylor are.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
