Hi,

I am related to Culpeper & Fauquier County PAYNEs but have not really
done much research on them of late. My paternal grandmther is Mollye
Elizabeth PAYNE, b. 07 May 1900, d. Jun 1968, m. Lucian Walker BOWEN
30 Aug 1918 in Washington, D.C.

Mollye's parents were Henry Franklin PAYNE, (b. Jun 1875, d. ??) and
Susan Ann PAYNE (his 3rd cousin; b. 22 Mar 1879 near Warrenton,
Fauquier Co., VA, d. ??). Their marriage date was 30 Dec 1897 in
Washington, D.C. They had 4 children, including Mollye. The others
were Virginia "Ditty" G. PAYNE, Robert H. PAYNE and V. Franklin
"Frankie PAYNE (who was still alive as of early last year).

I have additional info on their respective lines, but almost all from
other researchers or the book, The Paynes of Virginia.
