Looking for information on James M. Fulton who married Lucy Alexander LeGrand Cox. James born in Culpeper in 1799, married Lucy in Buckingham County and had son Samuel James Fulton in Culpeper in 1826. Official records, newspaper record and family lore all state Culpeper as place of birth but I cannot find one iota of information on the Fulton family in Culpeper. They are not related to Fultons in Rockingham or Augusta counties. Biggest brick wall I've ever encountered. Hope someone out there has a smidgen of information. Thanks!
