You can fill out any forms you want but they do not change 'sealed' records that their members submit - I know I tried to get it changed but it is part of the religion. What my brother told me is that for each name they submit to be sealed, they get 'points' towards heaven - and each of the deceased are created 'Mormon' ... he ought to know he has been LDS for many, many years, and I thank the church for saving him from a life of self indulgence - their views on family are unsurpassed, but I don't like their not using resources to show which data is correct and which data is incorrect.

I worked at a Family History Center and there is a form to correct incorrect
information.
