Some more from the Cumberland Co.,Virginia land tax records 1825-44:

1826-35 Elizabeth Brown and Rhoda Baber 250 acres adj. Thos. Brown, 7 miles
NE of the courthouse.

1833-35 Elizabeth Brown and Rhoda Baber 62 acres adj. Thos. Brown, 7 miles
NE of the courthouse

1836-47 Elizabeth Brown and Rhoda Baber 312 acres adj Thos. Brown, 7 miles
NE of the courthouse
[this is the same land consolidated into one tract]

I seem to recall that these two are sisters.
