In the old newspaper under the Scofield Kiser aqcuital-- was the Obit of my
Ggrandpa James W. Hill, so in order to find the year that he died, I went
to the Dickenson co. Court House and looked up the records on Mr. Kiser(
There is plenty info. on the trial )
Scofield Kiser was aquited 23 Apr. 1892.
