Hi Garrett researcher,
In searching for my Garrett on the Middlesex Co film I noted that on the
original document they spelled Garrett Gurret. I guess they had trouble
closing that "a" and adding the second "t". So keep that in mind when you
are search translated records. If the translator only types what they see
it could be a corrupted Garrett.
