Hi Ok here it goes this is what I have so far I will do the Jenkins side
first.

These are my great grandparents
William L JENKINS b. unknown married Mary GORDON b. unknown d. supposed to
have died around 1916 or shortly after.

Would or could this possibably be your William Jenkins???

*** I do not know how many children that William and Mary had or if William
every remarried. This is what I do know. The story goes William and Mary had
my grandmother Victoria Gladys Jenkins. She was born in 1916. William and
Mary were stated as her parents on Victoria's birth record. It was said that
Mary died while giving birth to my grandmother or shortly after. William did
not raise Victoria she was given to Hazel and John Luther Ramsey to raise.
For what reason William did not keep her I have no idea. So as I said I do
not know if she had any siblings or not. My grandmother Victoria was born in
Washington DC. As far as the JENKINS side that is all I know. Victoria
married Leonard F. DONALDSON

The Donaldson side:

John E. DONALDSON b. 1834 d. 1885 married January 16, 1858 to Cynthia
ARINGTON b. 1830 d. 1893

There Children that are know are:

Annie L. Donaldson b.1858 d. 1934
John E. Donaldson b. 1861 d. 1926

* I am sure that there were others these are the only ones I know of for
sure.

Annie L. DONALDSON
I think that she was married twice first to a ? Zimmerman and second to Joseph
Shafer.
Annie had a child with ?Zimmerman. His name was Willie Zimmerman and died at
the age of 11. I don't know if she had any other children with ? Zimmerman
or with Joseph Shafer.

John E. DONALDSON b. 1861 d. 1926 married 3/27/1888 to Alice R. Morris or
Morrison or Reynolds
b. 1872 d. 1925

* This is where things get kind of confusing also. On my grandfather's birth
record it says that his mother is Alice R Reynolds. On Alice's death record
it says that Alice's father was John MORRIS and mother was Mary DYER. On a
listing I have where Alice and John Donaldson got married at the Congress
Street Methodist Protestant Church records it has Alice listed as Alice
MORRISON.

Are you confused yet?????

Thomas Edward DONALDSON - b. Janurary 25, 1897 d. ?
Joseph Clarence DONALDSON - b. July 14, 1898 d. 1908
John Edward DONALDSON Jr. - b. July 2, 1899 d. 1901
Charles DONALDSON - b. 1901
Elwood DONALDSON - b. 1903 d. 1974
Morris Theadore DONALDSON - b. 1905 d. 1969
Cynthia Ellen DONALDSON - b. 1907 d. 1967
Leonard Francis DONALDSON - b. 1910 d. still living (doesn't remember
anything)
Infant Baby DONALDSON - b. 1911 d. 1911

I haven't been able to find anyone that connects with this family. I know
that from the time Alice and John started having children until the time of
there death they resided in Washington DC. As for John or Alice sibling I
have no clue. And as far as there parents and back I think that most of them
resided in the Virginia-Washington DC area.

Any information that you or anyone else may have would be greatly appreciated.
