Hello,

I recently began researching my CARTER line. My grandmother, JANIE
LAMAR CARTER, was born in Centreville, VA in 1865 and died in San
Angelo, TX in 1950. She was married to Frank Williamson on Jan 10, 1894
in San Angelo, TX.

Janie Lamar Carter was the daughter of GEORGE F. CARTER and E. LOUISE
_________..

GEORGE F. CARTER was the son of ALFRED G. CARTER and ELIZABETH LUCY
CARTER (daughter of Charles B. Carter, and Alfred and Elizabeth were
probably cousins).

ALFRED G. CARTER was the son of ROBERT (JOHN) CARTER and HEBE SMALLWOOD
GRAYSON.

And HEBE SMALLWOOD GRAYSON was the daughter of COL WILLIAM GRAYSON, a
Revolutionary War Patriot.

Any information on any of the above would be greatly appreciated.
