Thanks for your info. It was very helpful. Do you happen to know if there
is a "History of Fairfax County" type book in existence? I'm from PA and
we have had a habit of writing county histories here from back in the 1800
and early 1900's. Since my ancestor worked for the federal treasury dept.
during the Civil War, he might be mentioned in the book...if there is such
a thing. Let me know please if you know of any kind of history for this
county. Thanks again.
