Hello All!
I am new to this list. Just found a blurb in some old Navy info about the
ALEXANDRIA ACADEMY. Does anyone know if there is a roster of students who
attended the academy back in the "old days" - ca 1815-20.

I've found a man who may have been my ggg gf, Alexander Thompson, on board
the U.S. Navy ship Constellation in 1817. He was a midshipman and I know he
had to attend some kind of training facility prior to 1817.
