VALE METHODIST CHURCH CEMETERY

This cemetery is located at the northwest corner of Vale and Foxmill
Roads, Oakton.

When the gravestones were read in April 1988, the cemetery was in
excellent condition. It contained 91 gravestones; 1893 was the earliest
death date, 1987 was the most recent.

SMITH'S CHAPEL CEMETERY

This cemetery is located on the southside of Beach Mill Road, about 400
yards east of Seneca Road in the area known as Dranesville in Great
Falls.

This cemetery is associated with the Methodist Church. When the
gravestones were read in May, 1988, the cemetery was well maintained and
contained 44 gravestones. The earliest death date was 1871; the most
recent was 1988.

Additional information on the burials in this cemetery are on file in
the Virginia Room of the Fairfax City Regional Library.

ARNON CHAPEL CEMETERY

The cemetery is located on the west side of Walker Road, approximately
half a mile north of Georgetown Pike (Route 193), Great Falls.

When the gravestones were last read in April 1989, the cemetery was very
well maintained. The cemetery contained 495 gravestones. The earliest
death date was 1878; the most recent was 1989/

and Trap Road, across from Andrew Chapel United Methodist Church, 1301
Trap Road, Vienna.

When the gravestones were last read in the fall of 1989, the cemetery
was in current use and was nicely maintained. The cemetery contained
795 gravestones. The earliest death date was 1835; the most recent was
1988.
