It definitely has the Biblical Old Testament flavor to it ... such as Elias,
Hezekiah, Zechariah, Levi, etc. ... it appears that the "Protestant" folks
shortly after the revolutionary War of 1776 in the 13 "States" were brought
back to a religious/spiritual "Sense of being delivered from bondage -
[England's rule] " that they provided biblical names a lot ... typically
"Farmers" ...{:)

BUT! ... this new reference "Lived as a MICAJAH" in another person's home
in Bertie County, NC in the late 1700's - early 1800's is a new term to me
and I do believe it may have a biblical sense ... but I don't know what???

THANKS FOR RESPONDING!!! ...{:)

Anybody else?

I also have a Micajah Fitzpatrick so I was checking out the dictionary...
the
name Micah which seems short for the Hebrew word Mikhayah which was a Hebrew

prophet of the 8th Century BC. Do you think it could mean prophet?
