Since posting my message, I have sent for and received a copy of the Will of Thomas Lucas Sr. However, it appears that the list of his heirs is not complete. According to research of Mary Sapp, it would appear that there were at least eight or nine children of Thomas Sr. and Eleanor.
I have been trying to learn if they also had a son William, born November 9, 1755. He was Revolutionary Soldier, and according to his declaration he resided in Fairfax County at the time that he enlisted in the Virginia Continental Line in 1774/75.
I would surely appreciate any light which you might shed on this matter.
