For those of you who don't know, sharing your family trees with others online
and requesting that living family members are not be posted on the Internet;
does not necessarily mean that your request for privacy will be kept.

This is the response that I received from a Internet website:

While we understand that your preference may be to eliminate personal data
for living individuals, it is not a requirement. If the submitter chooses to
leave your information online, and to ignore your emails, there is nothing we
can do.
