In all of the messages about the Somers family, withGeorge (died 1805/6) as the father, I haven't seen anything about his daughter Sythe Blake Somers (1756-1822). Who were George Somers' children? I have been to Caswell NC and can't find any proof of her marriage to James Lanman. I also can't find anything to prove this George was in the RW, but a land record that he gave his grandson John, son of Sythe and James, the land in the Cumberland Waters that he got as a soldier in the Continental Line. Can some one help?
