Hi Margaret,

Thanks for the additional information. Fayette County, PA seems to have been a popular place with displaced Marylanders. A branch of the CONN family also settled there, along with other related families. There were also some DUVALLs there who I can't link back to the ones in MD.

Other CONNs went to Fairfax/Loudoun/Culpeper Co. VA, then to KY, then OH and IN, a path that seems to have been followed by thousands. They all started out in the area that's now Washington DC.
