There are so many knowledgeable people on this list that I am hoping someone can advise me.

I found in the CIVIL WAR PENSION INDEX CARDS (Ancestry.com) the name of my ancestor's daughter with her address in D.C. There was also a number (R-19383) included. All of this information was in the comments area of the card. The name of her father, the veteran, was NOT included.

Can someone please tell me if they think there would be a file under the name of the daughter and how I might request the information? NARA Form #85 doesn't really provide a place to request information from a daughter's application. I already have the file for her father, the veteran, but I was hoping to gain further information from her file.

Hope someone can help as I'd really like to get this additional information.
