I am a member of the Ozarks Genealogical Society in Springfield, MO. My husband & I will be relocating to the Northern Virginia area sometime in the next several months as my husband will be starting a job in Sterling on Dec. 1st. I will be visiting the area Dec 1, 2, & possibly the 3rd and wondered if there is a genealogy society in the area and if so, are there any meetings on those days? I would like to meet some people with an interest in genealogy before I move. I think it would be a nice way to get to know the people and the area and to have some contact while I am in Missouri preparing to move.
