Look in the northern Virginia libraries that have Genealogy (Relic)
areas. Prince William County Library system thru Bull Run Regional
Library has a good let of books and there is even a place online that
you can ask them some of these questions. I have done a lot of my
Fairfax/Fax family genealogy research through this site. I have a
library card because I live 15 minutes from Manassas.

Debbie,
Have a look at the indexes to Northern Virginia Genealogy.
www.novagenealogy.com. We published an article about the Shreves in
Loudoun County abut 4 years ago. Let me re-phrase this, first look at
the Publications Page. It has the Table of Contents for each issue. When
you find the issue that has the Shreve article, then check the index for
that issue to see if it mentions your ancestors of interest.

love and respect your work." John Morris

CGRS is a service mark of the Board for Certification of Genealogists,
used under license after periodic evaluations by the Board.

shows
he was born in Loudoun - but we have found no evidence of him there. We
have no idea who were his parents. He is a mystery. A cousin has been
searching for him for about 20 years but has never tried Fairfax.
