Ok !! Ok !! I conceed that yours in GUNNELL'S !!!
BUT where is "MY" Tunnell's ????
Would all of you keep my E-mail address handy and send me ANYTHING that
has the word Tunnell on it.??
They"Lady"Ann(Howard)(b.1710 in Yorkshire,Eng.)& Wm.TUNNEL(One L-From
France/Eng.) are mentioned in the Wm & Mary College book in 1768 but I have not
found that article .They lived @ 15miles east of Herndon,Va.from 1755 to
1788.They came from nr.Fredericksburg,Spotslvania Co.Va.in 1755 to Herndon,Va.Four
Minister sons were only names knownBUT there shuld have been at least12/13 kids
in the family.There youngest son John(b.1756)stated that he came from a large
family.So there should have been 'little"Gunnells & Tunnel's/Tunnell's all
over the place!!!
One QUESTION !!
What is the original name for Gunnell's ??And what country did they come
from??
My Wm.Tunnel*b.1702)was born as Guillaume Tonnelier the IInd.in France.His
Mom & Dad (& baby Wm.)fled France in 1702-03 when Wm.was a baby and went to
Yorkshire,Scarbrough,N.Riding area."Lady"Ann & Wm.came to Virginia in about
1731.She descends from the Dukes of Howard a Royal line.
