I'm sorry I'm so long in responding to your note to the Fauquier list, but
I wanted to let you know that there is a gal named Renee Ball who is
researching the black Baltimore name in Fauquier and other parts of VA.
Renee also was searching for the Ball name, and I have that name via an
English line - that's how we happened to chat, a few years ago. I just
checked the Rootsweb surname list, and found Renee under the Baltimore
surname - she is . Anyhow, I was quite impressed with
Renee - her methods, her unwavering determination, and of course, her
discoveries. She is very good, and I suspect you can rely on her
information. I had hoped to see her drop in here [I see her show up here
every once in awhile], but, unless you have heard from her off-list, I
suggest you contact her. I hope the two of you, if it works out, will share
your mutual findings with this list.
